SEO & GEO Specialist (Search + Generative Engine Optimization)
NakshatraChat is hiring an SEO & GEO Specialist to drive organic visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered generative platforms. In this role, you will own the full spectrum of search optimization — from technical SEO audits, on-page optimization, and link building for Google ranking to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies that ensure NakshatraChat is surfaced by LLMs, AI agents, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other generative answer engines. You will work closely with our content team to create content that ranks on Google for high-intent astrology keywords like "kundli reading", "online jyotish", "horoscope prediction", "vastu tips", "mangalik dosha check", "kundli milan", "rashifal today" and is also structured and cited in ways that AI models reference and recommend. Help millions of Indians discover authentic Vedic astrology through both Google and AI-powered search. Your skills and results matter more than how many years you have been doing this.
Key Requirements
- Hands-on SEO expertise — technical SEO, on-page optimization, schema markup (JSON-LD, FAQ, HowTo, Organization), and Core Web Vitals optimization for Google ranking
- GEO / AIO skills — experience optimizing content for AI answer engines (Google AI Overviews / SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Bing Copilot) through structured data, citation-worthy content, entity optimization, and knowledge graph alignment
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog) and AI visibility tracking tools (Peec AI, Profound, otterly.ai, or similar) — show us your workflow
- Strong understanding of content strategy, keyword research, topical authority, semantic SEO, and E-E-A-T optimization for both Google and LLM citation
- Experience building links and executing digital PR campaigns for the Indian market — especially in astrology, spirituality, wellness, or Bharat-focused niches
- Analytical mindset — ability to interpret data, draw insights, and iterate on strategy using GA4, Looker Studio, and AI visibility dashboards
- No rigid experience bar — if you have a proven track record of ranking competitive keywords in India and/or getting content cited by LLMs, we want you
